Temporary Graduate Visa 485 modified due to COVID 

In the beginning of mid-2022, Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa holders who are not able to go to Australia due to cut down on border and will be able to apply for a replacement visa.

The Migration (Migration Agents Code of Conduct) Regulations 2021 have established a new Code of Conduct for registered migration agents.

The new Code will take effect on March 1, 2022, and will replace the present Code. The revised Code incorporates recommendation 18 of the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority’s Independent Review from 2014, which recommended that the Department amend the Code after a thorough consultation process.

Reopening of the border for those with valid visas

Beginning Monday, December 27, 2021, the Skilled & Business Migration office will be closed for the holidays. The office will reopen with limited capacity on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., till Monday, January 10, 2022.
